Black Key Coffee, founded in 2019 by Devon and Andrew Blakley in Avon, OH, is a small batch coffee roasting business and local coffee shop. Andrew, the roastmaster, discovered that roasting green coffee helped him cope with severe depression and anxiety while also allowing him to focus on buying ethically from farmers and minimizing environmental impact. Devon, a Cleveland native, has always been passionate about her hometown and supporting small businesses. Together, they created Black Key Coffee as a way to combine Andrew's passion for coffee with Devon's desire to help people.
